Granada 4-11 October
The first 2024 edition of Second Fashion Week will be held in Granada, from October 4 to 11. Granada is a city rich in history and culture, which this year will serve as a setting to explore the phenomenon of migration through fashion, art and dialogue. This edition will seek to connect the local community with global issues, promoting a deeper understanding of migration and its multiple dimensions.
Main theme: Migration
This year, Second Fashion Week focuses on migration as its main theme, addressing this complex phenomenon from various perspectives. Through talks, workshops. photoshots and artistic expressions, topics such as power relations, mental health, populism, solidarity, and feminism will be explored, all framed in the context of the migratory experience.
Fashion shows and marketplace
The 2024 edition will hold fashion shows that will highlight the importance of sustainable and second-hand fashion. Local and international designers and non-designers will present their designs, highlighting reuse and creativity in fashion and what is done in the workshops. In addition, the marketplace will be a dynamic space where unique second-hand pieces can be bought and sold, promoting more responsible consumption.
